A member of the Natural Resources and Environment uses a chain saw to clear a downed tree on a road near Mudgegonga, Tuesday 10th February 2009. An estimated 30,000ha of land was turned black on Saturday the 7th of February in the 'Beechworth fire'. The Beechworth fire was one of many bush fires that raised the state of Victoria killing hundreds of people and destroying over 750 homes.
